Tara Kohler, PT, MPT

Tara received a master's degree in physical therapy from Central Michigan University. Her work experience includes a variety of physical therapy settings, including hospital-based inpatient care, both acute care and rehab; aquatic therapy; traumatic brain injury and manual therapy for patients with orthopedic dysfunction. Her current passion and area of expertise is vestibular rehabilitation to eliminate vertigo/dizziness and improve balance for patients affected by vestibular dysfunction. She is an assistant teacher for a course taught nationwide: Introduction to Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and baby daughter born October 14, 2010. Her other favorite activities include playing tennis, waterskiing, downhill skiing, mountain biking and hiking. Tara is also passionate about helping orphans and destitute elders in Sri Lanka. She has done onsite volunteer work in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka and continues to be an active volunteer for the non-profit organization, VeAhavta, which oversees the orphanage and elder care center in Sri Lanka.
