What Is Manual Therapy?

man-u-al: of or pertaining to the hand or hands

Touch was once considered crucial in speeding patients’ healing, and medical professionals used their hands to heal. At Probility, we still do. We believe in the power of expert touch in helping our patients enjoy their lives again.

About Manual Therapy

  • Manual therapy is a hands-on approach to the assessment and treatment of certain kinds of physical conditions that affect muscles, joints, nerves and fascia.
  • Manual therapy includes specific techniques such as joint mobilization, myofascial release/soft tissue massage. At Probility, each patient is thoroughly evaluated by a highly trained manual physical therapist, who then designs a unique treatment program.
  • Many patients who have had little success with more generic treatments at other physical therapy clinics find relief with Probility’s manual therapy techniques administered by caring, expert therapists.
